Falling in love with Suffolk

So it's official... (Well has been for me for a long time!) We adore Suffolk and it is our chosen place to settle one day. And it's not hard to see why... Here are a few of my latest pics of our Suffolk tour, the village in these pics I'm afraid will remain a secret location but I hope it will tempt you to explore this beautiful place, there is a reason why artists flock here.. The light....

                       Wild heather, gorgeous Heath land.

LOVE this idea... This rather colourful and pretty sculpture is being constantly changed, as it is in fact
A recycling bin! If you find litter, simply attach it to the net where it will eventually end up being recycled
How fabulous!

Hubby and hound taking a dip in the sea, what a glorious day!

And one day a little boat so we can catch
                                                                                    Fish for tea.

Feel free to share my pics, but could you please credit them to my blog, thank you.

Crabbing around

With our Devon holiday behind us and tans fading I was looking back through
Our holiday snaps and found these...

A fabulous day out rock pooling, such fun to be had by adults & children.

The anticipation at every rock turned over.....

This ones a happy little fellow, he looks like he's smiling.

Well peeps that's the end of our Devon snaps. We're off to visit
Ellie our little vintage caravan next week, she lives very happily on
A farm in Suffolk. I bought her years ago before the children
Were born and we all love her. So soon I shall be doing my regular
Blogging from southwold and giving you the low down on all the
Vintage markets.

See you soon

Persuaded my family to take a trip to the glorious RHS ROSEMOOR.
I did get a little snap happy but I promise I'll only post a few...

I love this! I'm now in pursuit of an old
          Tin watering can.

     Lovely late wisteria..

We were in total awe of their veg beds....
I've never seen so much fabulous produce!
It really is worth a visit!

Please feel free to use my photos but if you wouldn't
Mind please credit them to.. Emma Connolly @ the

IN LOVE WITH INSTOW

Exploring the Devon coastline today we stumbled upon the glorious Instow.
I have to say I have well & truly fallen for this strip of coast! A view one could never get bored of.
The weather kept changing dramatically and every time I looked up the sea scape had
 Changed yet again.

An artists paradise, I was cross with myself for not bringing paper and paint! However I did
Have the ability to take these lovely pics and I've given them a watercolour effect.

I have a few favourite places that I turn to for inspiration, weather it be for creativity purposes
Or just to find myself again and restore, and Instow has just been added to my list.
Stunning!

COFFEE TABLE READ. Pretty pastel style by Selina Lake.

Latest book on my coffee table, Pretty paste style
By Selina Lake.

Where do I begin... Oh how wonderful!
If you want a book to swoon over with gorgeous
Photography and beautiful homes then this book
May be for you.

With a strong emphasis on make do and mend,
With a pretty vintage twist Selina shows you how to
Successfully incorporate pastels into your home.

The styles look effortless and the painted pastel
Furniture and wood work will have you running off
To flea markets and grabbing the Annie Sloan paint.

A true success story of a interiors book and a real
Must for the home bird that enjoys the quirky &
Unique!

I must say though this book does claim to not be
Over girly... My husband read it and strongly disagreed!
It is a book for girls and hooray for such a treat especially
For us! Well done Selina.
