Oh what a beautiful morning! It's the time of winter that offers a promise... one of spring!It is cold enough to enjoy a lit fire in the evenings but bright and joyful outside. The birds sang loudly this gorgeous morning and the snow drops sparkled in the frost.
Venturing out and looking for the first signs of spring, a carpet of deep purple violas frame the garden path, even a lone daffodil turns it's happy head to the sun.
The primroses popping up in the lawn around the apple tree, the garden is full of spring leaves and getting ready to burst into its glorious and most beautiful state.
One of our favourite times... the anticipation of spring!
